With a fracture in his right shoulder blade, Miguel Oliveira will only return to the MotoGP tracks next year, spending part of the winter recovering from the injury. It is an adversity that does not worry the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP rider, who prefers to focus on being fully fit for the first test of 2024.
When asked by the press if it is difficult to go into the winter period dealing with another injury, the Portuguese replied:
– Well, it is what it is. I have to get better and I am not discouraged by ending the season like this. Of course, I would have been happy to finish the Valencia race in a good way, do the test and get that feeling going into the winter, but I went into the winter with victories, being very well placed – last year I finished the Valencia test in fourth. I think all those feelings eventually disappear when you recover and set new goals for the season, so I just want to be 100 percent for the winter test in Sepang and start from there.
