The international press recently reported alleged financial problems at the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team, with delays in payments from CryptoDATA – the majority shareholder and sponsor.
However, the company led by Ovidiu Toma denied these news to MotorcycleSports, ensuring that all payments are up to date and there is total financial security in the structure. It even talks about profit at the end of the accounts for this season, which was the first for the project as a satellite team of Aprilia.
It is worth remembering that the sporting results were not always as expected, with several difficulties throughout the season – particularly in this final phase. Miguel Oliveira, the most experienced rider at RNF, suffered from more than one injury, also conditioning personal progression and the project.
