The CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team is in a complicated moment and it is still uncertain whether it will continue, in its current form, in MotoGP for 2024, given the latest news yesterday that Dorna may have barred the team from the championship. Nevertheless, this did not distract Raúl Fernández from his focus today in the tests, with him admitting that he felt a bit like a factory rider today.
Today it was possible to see Aprilia once again closer to the Spanish rider in the tests – remembering that Miguel Oliveira was not present due to injury – and when asked if he felt this support in any way as a qualitative leap from the season that officially ended this Sunday, #25 replied:
– Aprilia is interested in us and they are very happy to have Miguel and me on the team. In my case, I feel that I can provide them with good information and Massimo [Rivola] was with us but, in general, I always feel that the guys from Aprilia have been with me. There is nothing to say about it, we are working well and we saw many people from Aprilia [in the garage] because Aleix [Espargaró] did not do the test. I felt like a factory team rider today.
