The MotoGP round in South America is set to change in 2025. The Argentine GP has been held since 2014 – except in the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021 – and after a decade it is expected to be replaced by Brazil. The candidate circuit is in Brasília.
FIM President Jorge Viegas told SportTV that this is a strong possibility and is what is envisioned, although he emphasizes that it is not yet fully confirmed:
– It is not yet confirmed, but I can say that everything indicates that it will happen: that in 2025 we will go to the Brasília circuit, which is being prepared. Now, things can change by then. At the moment, everything indicates that Argentina will have the last Grand Prix in Termas de Río Hondo next year, and then we will go to Brazil. But as I say, things can change in the meantime. But that is the idea.
