Joan Mir felt noticeable differences in the Honda RC213-V during the MotoGP test day in Valencia. However, despite considering that there were improvements, he believes that it is possible to do even better.
The Repsol Honda rider told the press that there is room for improvement in the bike’s electronics, in order to have a bike that allows him to do what he did with Suzuki:
– The character of the engine, the electronics, it’s still the type of electronics we had this year. I believe we can do something about this. It’s one of the things I asked for in Sepang, there is room. Now that the grip is a bit better, if we have more control in hand it’s an advantage – that’s what I did with Suzuki. Then, at the end of the race, I was able to be strong because of this, not just because I trust the electronics. We’re working on it, with used tires which is the right way to do it. We took some steps, I find a reaction, I can see a reaction in the garage.
