It is not exactly news that Casey Stoner is one of the voices against the evolution followed by MotoGP in recent years, and the Australian recently shared that sentiment, listing some of the changes he would like to see on the track.
In an interview with Moto Journal, the Australian who won titles with Honda and Ducati, and is considered one of the purest talents in the category, has previously stated that he is against the current level of electronics and “aids” to the riders, and reiterated some of the changes he would like to see implemented:
‘End the Sprint races. Electronics should be reduced to a certain level, only for safety reasons and not to give advantages to certain people. There are also no more spoilers. Assistance at the start would end,’ he began to say.
The Australian later concluded his idea and explained that the protagonists should be the drivers: ‘Personally, I want to see the guys showing all their talent. Currently, they don’t do it, they can only show the engineers’ talent.’
