Raúl Fernández after the positive result at the Misano GP heads to his debut in India with high motivation. The Spanish rider was pleased with the new circuit stating: “I like the track, it seemed safe to me, but we need to be careful in some points of the circuit. The paddock was impressive, it was a nice surprise and another important thing will be the track temperature, especially during the race. In any case, we have to be professionals, I liked the track and the feelings are good and the confidence with the bike is much better. We have no information about the circuit and we have to keep progressing. The main focus for this weekend is to see if we are at the same level as last weekend.”
Asked if he already knew the circuit, Raúl replied: “I only knew the track through Playstation, we don’t have simulators like Formula 1, where you can learn the circuit quite well. In Playstation, you can’t learn much about the circuit for the race. Some corners are similar to some circuits, but it’s very difficult to know. At the moment, Loris (Capirossi) is working with the bike, he did some laps to give us important information about the track.”
