After winning the MotoE world championship, Mattia Casadei sought new challenges in the championship for 2024 and moved to the LCR E-Team. The natural goal is to defend the title won this year.
The Italian rider stated in a press release: ‘I am happy to join the LCR E-Team, as it is one of the best teams in the paddock. I want to fight for the best results and I know that the whole team is eager to do a great job, so that is an extra motivation. We can achieve amazing things together, and I can’t wait to start!‘.
Currently 24 years old, Casadei has been in MotoE since the inaugural season in 2019, achieving podiums in every season. He already has seven victories, five of which were achieved this year.
