At the end of November, Francesco Bagnaia became the MotoGP world champion for the second consecutive year – being the third rider to achieve this in the last 20 years, after Valentino Rossi and Marc Márquez.
Achievement that deserved congratulations from Álex Rins. The Spanish rider told the press that he was happy for his opponent, considering it a well-deserved title:
– He deserves it, he had a truly good year. I’m happy for him, he’s a really good rider. We were fighting in the lower categories like the 125cc in the Spanish championship and here in MotoGP. I’m so happy for him. He wins the championship with a victory in the last race. It’s so good.
