In 2024, the Turkish rider moves to BMW, which is still far from consistent wins and podiums, raising some doubts about the chances of the 2021 champion being back in the fight in 2024.
In an interview with the website GPOne.com, the Spanish rider stated that the Bavarian project seems to aim to fight for the title in 2024, counting on the vice-champion once again as one of its opponents:
– For me, Toprak’s choice to go to BMW doesn’t seem bad, considering how much they have invested in Germany. Also, when you choose a rider like Toprak Razgatlioglu, it means you are aiming for the title. Personally, I hope he will be in the title fight from the first year.
