After showing a little more of what Marc Márquez is all about at the last GP in India, the former world champion aims to make ‘good progress’ at the team’s GP, on a track with fond memories that he holds dear due to its history in the championship and its importance to Honda fans.
In the team’s official preview of the home GP, #93 began by recalling how special it is to race in Japan: ‘Motegi is always a special race, especially when you’re a Honda rider. We’ve had many memorable moments there in the past, winning championships, returning to poles last year, so I hope we can do something good to give the fans a reason to cheer for us’.
Márquez doesn’t dwell on what he did in Buddh, and has his goals well defined: to continue on the path to recovery for the best “possible results”:
– Les conditions à Motegi peuvent beaucoup changer, donc nous devrons nous adapter tout au long du week-end, mais notre objectif global reste le même : faire des progrès constants et atteindre le meilleur résultat possible.
