The DRE Road and DRE Rookie stages will take place at the Modena Circuit on the weekend of May 18-19. The two dates for the DRE Racetrack (including the “One to One” programs) will be on June 18-19 and September 25-26 at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. The DRE Track Warm Up is scheduled for the weekend of September 14-15 at the Modena Circuit.
The events already included in the calendar represent the first part of the DRE Academy offer for the 2024 season. The dates for the DRE Adventure, the Ducati Experience designed for enthusiasts who want to improve their road and off-road riding skills and have fun with the Multistrada and DesertX, will be confirmed soon, along with other news ready to enrich the Ducati Riding Experiences landscape in the coming months.
The DRE Track Warm Up offers a specific focus on motorcyclists who want to learn the basics of circuit driving. The format starts with a theoretical briefing by Technical Director Dario Marchetti, focusing on correct riding position, braking, acceleration, and riding technique, after which participants will immediately move on to a series of exercises in the paddock. The subsequent track training is divided into five sessions, the first of which is a reconnaissance lap to familiarize with the circuit, using one of the models provided by DRE Road. The following four sessions are carried out with the Panigale V2, the ideal Ducati for a track debut. A specialized instructor will provide advice before each session, followed by a dedicated debriefing.
The “One to One” modes designed for the most loyal Ducatisti include three proposals. By choosing the first one, enthusiasts will be able to live an incredible day as an official rider at the controls of the Panigale V4 S. With the other two experiences, Ducati raises the bar even higher, offering an even more exclusive program that will allow you to live a dream day riding the new Panigale V4 R, the most sophisticated and powerful road super sport bike in the world (240.5 hp at 15,500 rpm, with the limiter in sixth gear at 16,500 rpm), or the bike that incorporates all the excellence of the engineering and cutting-edge technology of the Borgo Panigale brand: the Ducati Superleggera V4.
By taking part in these three experiences, participants can enjoy an educational session as passengers of a qualified DRE instructor, who will do some laps on the track to indicate the correct trajectories to follow, braking and acceleration points, and different riding techniques. The team of instructors includes, among others, professional riders such as Michele Pirro, Karel Abraham, Alex De Angelis, Lorenzo Zanetti, and Franco Battaini, coordinated by Technical Director Dario Marchetti.
The dates for the Modena Circuit with DRE Road and DRE Rookie are also confirmed for the 2024 season. DRE Road is the driving course designed and developed for all types of motorcyclists: both for those looking to improve their driving skills with the support of DRE instructors, and for all those who wish to test the technological features of the numerous Ducati models available in the program (including some of the most anticipated new releases for 2024, such as the DesertX Rally and the Hypermotard 698 Mono).
The DRE Rookie is exclusively dedicated to young motorcyclists aged 18 to 24 with an A2 license who ride limited motorcycles, with advanced training aimed at learning driving techniques that can help participants express their potential as motorcyclists.
