The World Superbike Championship has been dominated by Aruba.it Ducati and Álvaro Bautista in recent years, but in 2024 there will be some major changes – with some of the top riders switching teams.
Toprak Razgatlioglu has left Pata Yamaha and is now looking to win with BMW, while Jonathan Rea has left Kawasaki to succeed the Turk at the Iwata manufacturer, facing a new challenge.
Dani Pedrosa commented, quoted by the TodoCircuito.com website: ‘It will be a very interesting start to the year for WorldSBK next season, particularly after Rea’s move following so much success with Kawasaki‘.
The field also has newcomers, such as Supersport world champion Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Ducati) or Andrea Iannone – who is returning to competition after a four-year suspension, riding a Ducati for Go Eleven.
