Husqvarna presents itself at Dakar 2024 with only one rider, who will once again be Luciano Benavides – who this year was the Rally-Raid World Champion.
Team manager, Andreas Hölzl, praised the recent progress of the Argentine, stating in a press release that he feels confident and motivated to perform well in the legendary race in Saudi Arabia:
– Winning the World Championship with Luciano this year was incredible! Now, heading to Dakar 2024, Luciano has looked super fast in the test sessions, his speed is amazing and he is clearly very confident on the bike. He has taken a big step in technical riding, so with the confidence of the world title behind him, I think he can do very well in the Dakar!
