Pedro Acosta makes his MotoGP debut in 2024 and, for now, he does not talk about goals in terms of results. Despite almost immediate success in both Moto3 and Moto2, the GasGas Tech3 rider is aware that he has a huge challenge ahead of him.
In an interview with the EFE Agency, the Spanish rookie emphasized that he will have to take his time to learn the premier class, after the lesson he learned from his debut year in Moto2:
– I only have one day on the bike. We will try to stay calm and take time to learn, which I think was what prevented me from getting better results in my first year in Moto2. I will go slowly and first I will learn the basics. Once we have that, we will be competitive. No matter how competitive I am, if I fall 20 times, I will lose a lot of time on the track. I think that will be useful to me in MotoGP.
