Even after confirming the renewal of the title in the Spanish Superbike Championship, Ivo Lopes does not seem to want to slow down in his victorious “parade” and today at the Navarra circuit he once again showed why he is a level above the others.
The Portuguese rider from BMW EASYRACE Team once again made it two out of two in the second race of the ESBK and achieved a new triumph, completing the 16 laps of the Spanish circuit in 27:22.062s, which means a difference of 1.820s to former MotoGP rider Tito Rabat (2016 to 2021, in addition to a year in MotoE in 2023, and others in the lower categories of the world championship).
Third place went to Unai Orradre, while Román Ramos was fourth and Naomichi Uramoto closed access to the top five.
Once again, this was a dominating performance, with Lopes completing all laps in first place, with the second place being fought by Óscar Gutiérrez – who did not finish the race – Rabat and Ramos.
De esta forma, Lopes terminó con broche de oro un fin de semana inolvidable donde volvió a hacer historia.
