After a little over a year, the first ever victory in a main event of AMA Supercross finally arrived. It happened this Saturday night in Daytona, with Tom Vialle winning the main race of the day in the third round of the 250 East region.
The French rider was naturally pleased with his performance and did not hide it in his first reaction to the KTM website:
– It was good to get the win after getting my first podium last week and now my first win here in Daytona. The track was tough, but I feel good. I didn’t have a great start, but I passed a lot of riders and I feel really good – it’s fantastic to win. I want to thank my team and everyone who works with me and supports me. It’s great to race in Daytona and achieve this result!
