Aleix Espargaró has been part of Aprilia since 2017, witnessing the gradual growth of the Noale manufacturer. From the years with Gresini to the creation of the 100 percent factory team, from the struggles to get out of the last places to fighting for victories, the path has been long.
The Spaniard spoke to DAZN about this relationship with Aprilia and the RS-GP, admitting that it is a very different bike from last year and that he has to feel it as part of himself:
‘In the end, Aprilia is like my daughter, it is a part of my body and the truth is that the bike has received a great evolution in terms of aerodynamics, but the frame, engine, and lean angle are very similar. I am not a rider who stops the bike and likes to brake hard, quite the opposite‘.
