From April 27th to May 4th, 2024, the “4th Moto-Tour of Portugal HONDA” returns to the country’s roads, organized by PPmoto-adventures, with the official support of Honda Motor Portugal, TRY-Moto equipment, Casa das Peles, Multimoto, Alpinestars, Scorpion Helmets, 3DMP-3D Printing, Museu Luís Pinto, Parque Rural Tambor, Beiramoto, Garonda, and other sponsors to be announced, as well as the support of various municipalities.
The event is open to all Honda motorcycles that are suitable for this adventure. It takes place on national and municipal asphalt roads, although occasionally small sections of dirt roads without technical difficulty may be traveled to reach a certain place of visit. Each stage has an average duration of 250 to 300 km, lasting 8 to 9 hours.
This is the largest moto-touring adventure carried out in the national territory, both in terms of distance and number of days, regions to visit, number of activities, and visits to be made. Most of the route is followed by the Tour-Leader, in a predetermined order, although the itinerary in GPS coordinates is also provided for those who want to follow autonomously.
Just like in previous editions, the route is “semi-secret” and in 2024 it will prioritize the northern and central regions of the country “through mountains and valleys”, as other regions have already been explored in previous editions. The number of registered participants will be very limited (15 to 20 motorcycles) to maintain the cohesion and familiarity of the group. Approximately 2000 kilometers will be covered, with several visits to unusual or unknown places and unexpected activities.
