Prima Pramac was the MotoGP team champion last year and fought for the rider’s title with Jorge Martín until the last race. Therefore, even though it is a satellite team, the responsibilities for 2024 are greater.
The team manager, Gino Borsoi, emphasized in the presentation that the goal is to repeat last year’s performances, but with a different outcome:
– We had an incredible season in 2023, but we are already prepared this season to try to do the same. Our riders are strong, we had an amazing test. And now we are ready, we will only try to do the same, but with a different ending – because we were strong, but in the last race we lost the championship. But this season we can try again.
Martín continues at Pramac and also has ambitions to fight for the title. His new teammate is the 2020 vice-world champion, Franco Morbidelli, coming from the Yamaha factory team.
