Aleix Espargaró has a contract with Aprilia until the end of next season. At 34 years old, and in MotoGP continuously since 2012, the end of his career is already starting to be a subject, but the rider believes he can continue for some more time.
Quoted by the website Motosan.es, the Spanish rider explained that he has an environment in which he feels good and has everything he wants, being able to travel with his family. And in this context, Espargaró even admitted to continuing until 2025:
– The race calendar doesn’t seem difficult to me, although I’m sure it is for my team and my mechanics. I travel a lot with my family, I really enjoyed it this year. That makes me feel that maybe I can ride a little longer. If I can maintain this access to race weekends and Aprilia continues to improve, I will feel less pressure than ever before. I have enjoyed a lot in these last two or three months. So, maybe I can ride for another one or two years. […] I have fun traveling with my family. I have everything, what more can I ask for? And as long as that’s the case, I can keep riding.
