Álvaro Bautista had Toprak Razgatlioglu as his main opponent in the last two seasons of the Superbike World Championship. In 2024, the Turkish rider moves to BMW, which is still far from consistent victories and podiums, which raises some doubts about the possibilities of the 2021 champion being back in the fight in 2024.
In an interview with GPOne.com, the Spanish rider said that the Bavarian project seems to be aiming to fight for the title in 2024, so he expects the vice-champion to be one of his opponents again:
