KTM continues to take solid steps towards fighting for the MotoGP title. This year, Brad Binder has been a more constant presence in the fight for the top places, with several podiums. Despite the lack of victories, team director Francesco Guidotti was pleased with the performance.
In an interview with the official championship website, the Italian stated that it was a satisfactory season, in which improvements were clear, allowing the manufacturer to keep up with the pace of evolution of the rest of the field:
– I’m happy from the beginning, I would say. We started off strong in Portimão with good results and throughout the season we had many podiums – some victories in Sprint races. The improvement is clear and that’s what we were looking for this year. Most of the races this year were much faster than last year, which means the level is increasing. We’re there, so that means we may be the manufacturer that has recovered more than the others. –
