LCR returned to compete in MotoGP and MotoE in 2023, with results that were not always the best. In the premier class, Álex Rins was the only Honda winner last season, while in the electric bike championship, despite the victory and three other podiums by Eric Granado, they were unable to get involved in the title fight as intended.
In a “Year Book” of photographs, owner Lucio Cecchinello shared a reflection on the 2023 season, writing that there were difficulties but also good moments:
“The year 2023 is a challenging one to forget, the contrast of emotions that accompanied us throughout the championship was truly intense. We had memorable moments such as Álex Rins’ victory in the Americas GP, along with Eric Granado securing four exciting podiums in MotoE. However, we also faced evident difficulties, marked by injuries and technical problems.”
