Axel Bassani has a complicated mission in the 2024 World Superbike season. This year, he will be a factory rider for the first time, replacing Jonathan Rea at Kawasaki – a rider who was a key figure for the manufacturer, with six world titles.
In a few weeks, on February 8th, the official presentation will take place, and the newly arrived Italian rider admitted that it will be a special day… at a time when he is working hard for this project:
– I am very happy to participate in my first team presentation within a factory team. I think it will be a special moment for me, for my family, and for all the people who have helped me every day to do this work. I believe that the presentation will be the beginning of a good story. I am working every day for this new adventure and I am looking forward to fighting hard on the track.
