The Honda Monkey is easily one of the most iconic mini motorcycles in the world. Since its debut in 1961, it has been acclaimed worldwide and is a favorite among enthusiasts and users, as the Monkey doesn’t take itself too seriously and has always been synonymous with fun and freedom of expression.
Due to this global admiration, the Monkey has also become a favorite among custom motorcycle builders looking to make a statement. And in Thailand, the Cub House, a shop specializing in all things Honda Mini-Moto, has revealed a special edition model called the “Monkey King Special Custom Edition” that looks fantastic.
Essentially a custom build straight from the showroom floor, this special two-wheeler has an emphasis on elegance and sophistication and will certainly catch the attention of people looking to stand out from the competition.
This charming mini motorcycle is adorned with black and gold paint, with the inscription “Monkey Edition” painted in a classic carnival font on the fuel tank, while matching gold stripes give it a certain retro touch. The ensemble is completed with a Monkey King emblem and a set of decal details representing playing card suits on the swingarm.
Only 300 of these copies will be produced. Unfortunately for Honda Monkey fans in other parts of the world, it seems that the Monkey King Special Custom Edition will only be sold in Thailand. However, if you like this kind of aesthetic, it can serve as inspiration for building your own customized Monkey. After all, the Monkey is one of the most customized motorcycles in the world, and there are plenty of aftermarket parts to choose from – many of which we have already discussed in the past.
