The Anaheim 1 Supercross was not exactly friendly to Hunter Lawrence, as a series of misfortunes prevented him from advancing to the main event in his debut in AMA Supercross 450. Nevertheless, the rookie is determined to get back on track this weekend.
Lawrence spoke about the accident to the organization: ‘I watched the video and said, “Let me see if there was anything I could have done to avoid that,” and yes, it was difficult. I got squeezed and sometimes that’s just the nature of it,’ he said, before continuing with a statement from the team:
-‘It’s obvious that this wasn’t how we planned my 450 debut, but there’s only one way to go, which I know well: put my head down and get back to work. Bring on San Francisco!’
