For World Superbike enthusiasts, the wait for the return to action is coming to an end. The first tests of 2024 will take place on January 24th and 25th in Jerez de la Frontera.
All teams participating in the championship will be able to attend these two days, but independent teams and riders are also expected to be present at the Spanish circuit.
Kawasaki was the first manufacturer to reserve these tests on the calendar, according to Motosan. Due to numerous requests, some teams were put on a waiting list due to a lack of available garages. In addition to Kawasaki, the factory teams of Ducati, Yamaha, BMW, and Honda are also expected to be present.
This way, it will be possible to see how two-time champion Álvaro Bautista will perform on the track in preparation for the new minimum weight rules, as well as rivals Toprak Razgatlioglu, now with BMW, Jonathan Rea, contracted by Yamaha, or the returning Andrea Iannone.
