The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP will have Álex Rins as a strong reinforcement next year, and the former LCR Honda admits that, despite the little time on the bike, he felt better and improvements.
The rider, who suffered a lot in 2023 with injuries, assured Sport, quoted by Motosan, that he is physically at the peak of his abilities: ‘Every time I ride the bike, I get better. I notice the steps of improvement that we are taking. From the first time I tested the bike until the last time, which was in Valencia, the truth is that I felt much more comfortable, almost at 100%.’
And he continued: ‘When I tested the bike, it was the fourth day that I was riding non-stop, well, I lie, we had a small rest day in between, but it wasn’t much. It surprised me because the pain I had went from more to less, when the most logical thing is for it to go from less to more.’
The Yamaha rider missed a large part of the races due to a fracture in his right leg suffered in Mugello, ending up with 54 points.
