Introducing the new Vitpilen and Svartpilen for the 401 and 125 cc; redesigned in many essential elements, they present themselves with a renewed technical appearance. While remaining true to the distinct, minimalist, and avant-garde design that has characterized them to date, they offer significant changes in all the most essential elements, including the significantly longer wheelbase.
To achieve this, Husqvarna has developed a new steel trellis frame for all models and opted for a new longer aluminum swingarm. Also new are the triple clamps with a new offset. The intention is to ensure even more effective and enjoyable driving dynamics. The frame has also been redesigned, the suspension is strictly from WP, the fork is the APEX type with 43mm, while the rear shock absorber with its special offset arrangement remains from WP, but with optimized calibration to suit the renewed frame.
Always small and compact, the two bikes in different displacements and configurations offer a seat height of only 820 mm, always allowing perfect foot support on the ground, but in this 2024 model they achieve a new ergonomics capable of ensuring a better driving sensation for the rider. Premium finishes are not lacking, a 5-inch color TFT instrument panel, curve ABS, electronic gearbox, and striking paint.
The engines have also been redesigned, now more compact, descendants of the new LC4c family. Manufactured with a displacement of 399 cc for the Svartpilen 401 and the Vitpilen 401, they provide 45 hp and 39 Nm of maximum torque. The 125cc versions, according to current regulations, are limited to 11kW, 15hp, and a maximum torque of 11.5Nm. All cylinder and piston materials are new, as well as a completely redesigned four-valve head compared to previous units.
