Bridgestone EMEA stands out again in corporate sustainability, receiving the EcoVadis Platinum rating for the fourth consecutive year.
This distinction places Bridgestone EMEA among the top one percent of the approximately 130,000 companies assessed globally. Four main areas are evaluated: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
EcoVadis assigns ratings based on the quality of sustainability management systems as well as the company’s commitment to transparency. Bridgestone EMEA scored 100 percent in the Environment category.
Laurent Dartoux, Bridgestone EMEA Management Board Chair and Group President, said in a press release: ‘This year’s scorecard recognises great work being done across Bridgestone, particularly the efforts of our Environment team with a remarkable perfect score. This Platinum rating is a great achievement, but it doesn’t signify that our work is complete. The EcoVadis assessment is an opportunity to highlight Bridgestone’s sustainability progress and achievements, but it is also a guide that continues to illuminate the areas we still need to improve’.
