With KTM AG grappling with financial difficulties, speculation has arisen regarding the manufacturer’s future in MotoGP. However, Hervé Poncharal, head of the satellite team Tech3, does not appear concerned about the immediate continuity of the project.
Speaking to GPOne.com, the Frenchman expressed his confidence in the organization: ‘I won’t comment because I don’t know the details. However, I can say that, from my perspective, everything is proceeding normally, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way. I have great confidence in [Pit] Beirer, whose primary commitment is to racing. It’s true that KTM is facing challenges, but it won’t stop; it will reorganize’.
Poncharal then said: ‘As far as we are concerned, the racing department is operational. We have a great sponsor behind us and four riders in MotoGP. KTM is a very important player in MotoGP, and we can count on the full support of Red Bull’.
Finally, the Tech3 owner commented: ‘Right now, we are all working towards having a strong 2025, and the four orange-clad riders will be there in the factory team’.
