The 2024 MotoGP season was far from easy for Miguel Oliveira. His results and performances often fell short of expectations, and he missed the entire Asian leg toward the end of the season due to injury.
The highlight of his year was the German GP. Before the summer break, the Portuguese Trackhouse Racing rider delivered an outstanding performance at Sachsenring, achieving his best result of the season.
During that round, Oliveira took his Aprilia to second place in the Sprint race and finished sixth in the main race – his best result on the RS-GP apart from his fourth-place finish at last year’s British GP.
In an interview with Estrella Galicia 0,0, the #88 reflected on the Sachsenring GP: ‘Germany, in terms of results, was perhaps our best accomplished Grand Prix. I managed to get on the podium in the Sprint, which was extremely positive for everyone’.
