It is not uncommon to find motorcycle riders whose parents have also been riders, to a greater or lesser extent. However, the son of one of the MotoGP legends, Max Biaggi, will not follow his father’s path.
The Italian, who was a four-time 250cc champion and a two-time champion in the Superbike World Championship, revealed, as quoted by Il Mattino, that his son does not like motorcycles and even protects him from them: ‘My son does not have a passion for motorcycles, but I did not do anything to make him passionate. I protect my son. He doesn’t even have a bicycle.’
Biaggi knows the risks of motorcycle racing well. In 2017, during a test near Rome, he crashed and suffered multiple injuries, which left him in the hospital.
