Ricky Brabec was the big winner of the 46th edition of the Dakar, which ended last Friday, January 19. With this triumph, the American rider not only strengthened his resume, but also filled his bank account.
By winning the competition, the Monster Energy Honda Honda rider will receive 50,000 euros, as detailed by DAZN. The second-place finisher, Ross Branch (Hero MotoSports), will be entitled to half of that amount, that is, 25,000 euros, while the third-place finisher, Frenchman Adrian van Beveren (Monster Energy Honda), will amass 15,000 euros.
In the final classification, Brabec surpassed Branch by 10m53s, having managed to win one stage: the tenth, in which he made all the difference.
