Just as the testing day ended yesterday at Jerez, it continues: Nicolò Bulega is once again the fastest on the Spanish circuit. Jonathan Rea and Toprak Razgatlioglu, both with a new team, are performing well and close out the top three.
The rookie, WSSP champion in 2023, is having a big impact so far with Ducati and just like yesterday, he doesn’t seem to be slowing down and remains at the top of the tests, with a lap time of 1:37.809s, a time better than yesterday’s 1:38.292s.
Behind the Italian, with a difference of 0.536s, is Rea, who will be racing with Yamaha this year after many titles with Kawasaki. The adaptation seems to be going well for the British rider, who has another former world champion, Razgatlioglu, in a similar situation with BMW, just 0.293s behind.
Stefan Bradl (MotoGP/Honda) is fourth overall and the only one riding a MotoGP bike, with Andrea Iannone also performing very well. He returns to motorcycle racing after a four-year absence due to a penalty for a positive test for doping substances.
Danilo Petrucci is fifth among the WSBK riders, even ahead of Álvaro Bautista – the current champion – who is in 11th place.
Among the WSSP riders, the highlight is Stefanzo Manzi (23rd overall), with Can Oncu and Adrien Huertas completing the top three.
Here is the overall classification of the times:
