Chinese brand Tailg has unveiled a new compact scooter that aims to make a significant impact, especially with its ultra-fast charging capabilities.
At the EICMA trade show, Tailg introduced the S96MAX, featuring the industry’s first three-in-one drivetrain: the Star Ring Motor, which integrates the motor, transmission, and electronic control into a single compact unit.
The scooter boasts impressive performance, with a top speed of 120 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 50 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. It delivers 15,000 W of power, and its range is approximately 150 km on a single charge.
One of the standout features of the S96MAX is its rapid charging capability. Thanks to the Nebula Fast Charging System, adapted from automotive technology to two-wheelers, the scooter’s battery can charge up to 80 percent in just 10 minutes. This innovation not only makes recharging more efficient but also reduces development and production costs for the scooter.
The S96MAX comes equipped with advanced onboard technology, including a TFT screen with multi-screen interaction, 55W wireless charging, and high-definition front and rear cameras.
