Souo, a subsidiary of the automotive giant Great Wall Motor (GWM), has stunned with its new LH 2000 – a naked mega cruiser derived from the S 2000 introduced last October.
Currently, the brand is only present in China, but it’s not out of the question that it may start exporting to other continents by 2026. The LH 2000 was recently spotted undergoing testing in Germany, where suppliers Bosch and ZF Sachs are playing a significant role in its development, alongside engineer Uwe Moser.
Bosch is responsible for engine management, cylinder deactivation, fuel injection, and assistance systems, while ZF Sachs is developing the chassis. The bike is powered by an impressive eight-cylinder boxer engine, boasting a displacement of 1,999 cc, a maximum power output of 154 hp, and 190 Nm of torque. It features an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
The LH 2000 appears to draw inspiration from both the Honda Gold Wing and the Valkyrie Rune. Reportedly, the front and rear suspension systems are from ZF Sachs, with automatic load equalization. The braking system consists of dual Brembo discs with four-piston calipers at the front, and a single disc at the rear, with ABS included as standard.
