One of the most respected riders in recent MotoGP seasons is Dani Pedrosa, who despite not winning a MotoGP title, has accumulated many fans for his unique ability to ride… and evolve. KTM took advantage of the opportunity to benefit from all this experience by securing the Spanish rider as a test rider, with Giacomo Guidotti praising the little Samurai.
Giacomo Guidotti, who worked as a technician with the rider for two years, spoke with Moto.it on the #atuttogas podcast about #26 and did not hesitate to praise the KTM test rider: ‘Dani is very professional. His precision in riding is also reflected in how he communicates with the technicians during preparation. It was an important experience for me, a great learning experience’.
For Giacomo Guidotti, having a rider like Pedrosa is something that all manufacturers desire: ‘We need a Pedrosa in every manufacturer, and it would have been useful to have him with us’.
Remember that Pedrosa left MotoGP as a full-time rider at the end of 2018 and since then has only participated in three rounds: one in 2021 and two in 2023.
