The new Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650 is set to arrive soon, expanding the brand’s 650cc lineup. In recent days, images of this new model have leaked.
The frame and cycle parts are expected to be largely similar to the Interceptor 650, though possibly with different rear springs and an upside-down front fork. The Hindustan Times reports that Royal Enfield may have collaborated with Showa on tuning the suspension.
The bike features spoked wheels and dual-purpose tyres. The LED headlights are similar to those found on other 650cc models from the brand, while the turn signals resemble those on the Himalayan 450. The taillight has a circular shape.
As for the engine, it is the same 648cc parallel-twin found in the current Royal Enfield 650 models, delivering 47 hp and 52 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
It is expected that the instrument panel will be a fully digital TFT display. In the leaked spy images, the bike is shown in a color scheme combining yellow (dominant on the peanut-shaped fuel tank), white, black, and blue.
