By moving to the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, Fabio Di Giannantonio changes his head mechanic once again in MotoGP, now being David Muñoz – who makes his debut in the premier class, despite already having a lot of experience in the paddock.
The Italian rider admitted that these changes do not help, as there is an adaptation to be made to the way of working, but in any case, he showed confidence in having a good working relationship with Muñoz:
– It is true that starting from scratch never helps, let’s say. But when you start again with a good person, a person with a lot of knowledge, it is not really a problem. When we met in Valencia, the first feeling was very good. It is true that he has a different way of working on the bike, also a different method, like working in the garage. But I think it won’t be a big problem. Also because when you are fast, everything is easier and calmer. So the goal is to be as fast as possible and surely David can help me achieve the maximum this year.
