Monster Energy Yamaha is working hard on the MotoGP bike for this year, in order to progress and improve its results. After the tests in Losail, Fabio Quartararo hopes that the situation will be better.
The 2021 world champion was asked if he expects to be better in competition than in 2023. In response, he said: ‘Of course we are… I won’t say much better than last year, but the others are also much better than last year. So, this is the problem and we have to see. Because I believe that the track conditions in two weeks will also be different. So, hopefully it will be a little better’.
As for the longer exhaust, Quartararo commented: ‘Yes, but this is not something that will provide more grip or anything like that. But there are some positive aspects, some negatives, but I decided to keep it’.
