Ducati is heavily investing in its off-road project, and in September appointed Michael Schalbitz as Off-Road Sales Project Manager, thus reinforcing its organizational structure.
In this role, the responsibility is to coordinate the implementation of the Sales and After Sales strategy for off-road products at a global level. Michael Schalbitz will collaborate with corporate entities and all branches and distributors of the Borgo Panigale manufacturer, contributing ‘to the correct positioning of the new product in the markets, the creation of customer experience processes and the development of related business’.
With deep experience and knowledge in off-road sales, Michael Schalbitz will report to Francesco Milicia: Vice President Global Sales and After Sales.
Known mainly for its sports bikes and successes on asphalt circuits, Ducati is now working in the off-road segment, not only entering motocross competitions but also presenting a complete range of engines and bikes. The plan is a multi-year, long-term strategy, starting from racing to create high-performance production products.
