This Friday, Adrián Huertas dominated the Superpole of the World Supersport in Phillip Island, achieving the pole position. However, he ran the risk of not being able to take advantage of that position at the start of the races.
After setting the fastest lap, with about two and a half minutes left, the Spanish rider from Aruba.it Ducati suffered a violent highside. He was dazed and sat in the gravel for a few moments.
Later, Huertas was taken to the circuit’s medical center and was eventually declared fit. It was a scare, which you can see in the following video.
