Having an A2 motorcycle license means you’re restricted from riding certain types of bikes due to power limits. Honda offers an appealing option in the scrambler segment for A2 license holders: the CL 500.
The Honda CL 500 is a agile bike ideal for urban commuting, yet it also excels off-road and provides a somewhat sporty riding experience.
It features a 471 cc twin-cylinder engine producing 47 hp (34 kW, within the A2 license limit) and 43.4 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The bike comes with a telescopic fork up front, dual rear shock absorbers, a floating front brake disc, a rear disc brake, and a diamond-type steel frame. The rider will also find an LCD display on the dashboard.
Diogo Mota had the opportunity to test the attractive Honda CL 500, and he covers all the details of the bike in this video – from its handling and engine to its riding characteristics and design.
