Miguel Oliveira is out of the Aragon MotoGP Grand Prix. The Portuguese rider didn’t even complete the first lap in this afternoon’s race in Aragon.
After a promising start, where he climbed from seventh to sixth and seemed to have the conditions to fight for another solid result, the Trackhouse Racing man suffered a crash.
It happened at the last corner of MotorLand Aragon. Oliveira, who didn’t make any contact, lost control of his bike in the middle of the corner and couldn’t avoid the crash.
The incident led to his retirement on the spot, in an inglorious and heartbreaking outcome after a weekend where he showed competitiveness to fight in the top ten as the best Aprilia rider.
