Miguel Oliveira is out of the MotoGP Aragon Grand Prix. The Portuguese rider didn’t even complete the first lap of this afternoon’s race in Aragon.
After a promising start, where he moved from seventh to sixth and seemed to have the conditions to fight for another solid result, the Trackhouse Racing man suffered a crash.
It happened in the last corner of MotorLand Aragon. Oliveira, who didn’t make any contact, lost control of his bike in the middle of the corner, unable to avoid the crash.
The incident led to his retirement on the spot, an inglorious and heartbreaking outcome after a weekend where he showed competitiveness to fight in the top ten as the best Aprilia rider.
