Yamaha rumoured to be in Misano yesterday and Tuesday for two days of private testing with their MotoGP bike. But Álex Rins, Andrea Dovizioso, and Fabio Quartararo were not alone on the track.
According to Motorsport.com, other riders were at the circuit on road bikes. The most famous was Valentino Rossi, who once again rode his Yamaha R1 with the number #46 on the fairings.
And, with Il Dottore, other riders from the VR46 Riders Academy were present: championship leader Francesco Bagnaia, Franco Morbidelli, and Marco Bezzecchi rode the Ducati Panigale V4 S. Michele Pirro was also there.
From KTM, Dani Pedrosa and Pedro Acosta were present, with Acosta even riding a Moto2 bike… which was also ridden by Gresini riders Albert Arenas and Manuel González.
It is worth noting that in September, Misano will host not only the San Marino GP but also an official test day and the Emilia Romagna GP, making this a training moment for those occasions.
