Triumph is preparing new additions to its 400 range later this year – the presentation of two new models is expected in the coming months, possibly on November 1st. This platform resulted from the partnership with Bajaj Auto.
According to Rush Lane, citing CNBC-TV18, the collaboration is preparing to add two new models to the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X, based on the same frame and using the same 398.15 cc single-cylinder engine.
Spy test images of the Thruxton 400 have already been shared, which could be one of these two new motorcycles – with a retro café racer design, including a round headlight flanked by fin-shaped elements, handlebar-end mirrors, and identical components to the Speed 400 such as the main frame and subframe or the fuel tank.
As for the other model, there are no indications of what to expect – speculations include a cruiser with a longer wheelbase than the Speed 400; or a more daring street bike or even a sport bike that competes with the KTM RC 390.
