Miguel Oliveira abandoned the MotoGP British Grand Prix race on the first lap. After starting well, an incident forced the Trackhouse Racing man to retire.
At the start, the Portuguese was able to gain ground, moving up from 15th to 14th in the first corners. However, still on the opening lap, he was involved in an accident with teammate Raúl Fernández.
It was the end of the line for both, in a race that didn’t last long for Oliveira. This is the second time that “Falcão” has had this outcome in a main race in the 2024 season, after retiring in the French GP.
At the moment, there are no images of the accident. What is certain is that Oliveira lost any chance of scoring points and continuing the good performance he had before the summer break in the German GP.
